Hi, I'm Ed Lomonaco and I'm a developer who lives & works in Grand Rapids, MI.
I've been programming since 2001, when I was in high school. My first love was PHP and my first PHP app was a search engine for my website.
After making my first website in high school, I decided that this was what I wanted to do for a living.
I went to Davenport University where I got my bachelors in Computer Information Systems.
While PHP is my first love, it's not my only love, I also love to develop with C#, Kotlin, and Swift. Currently I've been working with PHP & Laravel these days now that I'm part of the wellness team of my company.
Mobile development is a recent tech stack I've dabbled in, I prefer developing native apps using Kotlin & Swift than using a cross-platform solution.
I also love to do some DevOps work, I helped automated our deploy process at Terryberry.
On a personal note, I'm a year into learning Japanese, I have much to learn still, but I'm enjoying the journey.
I simply love learning new things, I have a desire to always learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
